BAL-40 Compliant Windows & Doors

Much of Australia is exposed to bushfire risk, and building regulations have evolved to reflect that reality. The Building Code of Australia (BCA) requires specific construction standards for homes in these zones to help minimise the risk of damage and protect lives during a bushfire.

If you’re building or renovating in a designated bushfire area, it’s essential to choose materials that are rated for your property’s Bushfire Attack Level (BAL). Alongside proper site planning, vegetation management, and access to independent water sources, compliant windows and doors are a key part of safeguarding your home.

At Taylor’s, we supply a full range of aluminium windows and doors engineered to meet BAL-40 bushfire compliance, giving you peace of mind without sacrificing style or comfort.

Our BAL-40 certified range combines proven safety performance with modern design flexibility.

Each window and door is independently tested to endure the extreme heat and ember exposure typical of BAL-40 conditions, while maintaining the clean lines, energy efficiency, and smooth functionality that define all Taylor’s products.

• Certified protection: engineered and tested to meet Australian Standards for BAL-40 zones.
• Durable construction: high-performance aluminium frames resist warping, corrosion, and heat damage.
